Why the Cat Writes the Blog

There’s a blog now. And yes, it’s written by my cat. No, I’m not joking. Yes, she has a full name.

Wilimina Kathy McDoodleson, PhD Jr III. CEO of Zero Filter Threads.
Head Judge in Charge. Pet rent payer. My emotionally distant creative director.

Let me explain.

I created this brand during a breakdown. Or a breakthrough. Or maybe just a really well-designed spiral. I needed an outlet. A place to take all the things I was too tired to say out loud and put them on something you could wear, touch, or stick on your water bottle. Something that said, “Yes, I’m barely functional. But I’m doing it in a hoodie that slaps.”

But I didn’t want to be the face of it. The one creature who perfectly embodied the tone of Zero Filter Threads — unbothered, judgy, beautiful, and occasionally affectionate — was already living in my house.

So now Billi writes the blog.

Because I needed the outlet. And she needed a job. She pays $25/month in pet rent. She’s snack-motivated. And unlike me, she doesn’t apologize for needing space.

So yes — she writes the blog. She reviews the merch. She announces the drops. And I let her. Because if I’m going to build something real, it needs to feel like me. And that includes letting my cat take credit for my emotional labor.

Zero Filter Threads is mine. But the attitude? That’s all Billi.

Welcome to the blog. She’ll be posting again soon. Probably. Unless she’s napping. In which case, same.
